The Canadian oak adds a sweetness and sense of polish to this solid Pinot Noir. Cherry, cranberry and strawberry on the nose with some smoke and earthy tones. A soft palate with rich red berry flavours, alongside spice and a hint of white pepper. It's medium weight with good structure and quite firm tannins that need a couple of years, or maybe a roast duck.
