Donna and David Lailey began growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the 1970’s. Minerality, elegance, and complexity have come to define the wines crafted from our Old Vines. These qualities are a direct result of the deep roots, stony soils, and winemaker Derek Barnett’s dedication to producing a sincere expression of these venerable vines. This top-of-the-line Chardonnay has the class and complexity of previous Old Vine Chardonnay vintages. There’s a core of fresh fruit that is nicely enhanced by the wine’s leesy, nutty and mineral-rich notes. This is very attractive in its youth and promises to develop nicely over the next four to six years.
