2002 Grapes were harvested December 2, which was the earliest harvest on record at Lailey Vineyard. Temperature at harvest was between -9 and -11 degrees celsius. Pressing took place immediately after harvest and fermentation was started using selected yeast (MO5) which was selected for its slow fermenation and for its expression of fruit character.

tasting notes at bottling

fresh lime, peach and intense yellow apple aromas
The flavours are rich and powerful.
Flavours of peach, apricot and a fresh acidity, lead to a very long finish.

2003 tasting notes at bottling

Apricot, peach, star fruit and cream toffee on the nose. Rich exotic yellow fruits ont he palate with a clean, fresh lemon finish. Good acidity balances the sweetness and leads the mouth to the glass for another sip.

total production: 110 cases (200 ml bottles)
