fresh lemon grass and wild flowers on the nose, the palate shows green apples, lemon zest and minerals with a crisp acidity leading the flavours to a long, fresh finish

Beautiful honey - almost mead-like- aromas. The palate has dveloped some real richness and texture. There is still quite a lemony freshness. And, the familiar petrol of aging riesling is present, but well integrated.

 2001 cool fermentation using two yeast strains to enhance varietal aromatics / after a longer than usual fermentation, the wine was racked keeping the two wines separate / when cold stabalization was complete, the wines were blended and allowed to "marry" before bottling

pale straw colour with aromas of citrus, mineral, yellow plum and white peach / the palate is dry and citrusy with a crsip finish of lemon and mineral making this a very refreshing wine with great balance
drinkability: hold (short term) / appearance: palest straw colour nose: apricot skin, grapefruit / taste: very dry, lemon-lime, grapefruit flavour with good length with an earthy note on the finish

Very shy nose but there is some green apple fruit, with flinty, lime and grapefruit aroma. Medium weight, quite solid style and dry with an usually bitter, slightly green and earthy finish. Age this a couple of years. Very tight now.

A very refreshing wine with fresh green apple and peach flavours, some mineral notes on the finish which is dry and crisp.

bottled in July 2003
  Developing a definite petrol and peach pit character, while maintaining a lemony and herbal freshness.
