Chelsea Buns
(a delightful lunch or mid-afternoon indulgence)
Use any sweet bread dough recipe.

Let the dough rise and roll it out flat to about 1/4 inch in thickness.
Brush the dough with butter and sprinkle evenly with brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and the toppings of your choice - raisins, walnuts, maraschino cherries for example.
Cut the covered dough into one inch slices and roll them up.

Place the bundles flat and snug together in a pie plate.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 325 F.
