4 out of 5 stars A gorgeous Cabernet Franc with the perfume and intense fruit typical of Niagara's best examples. The aromas range from raspberry to cedar to tobacco leaf. On the palate, the full-bodied wine exhibits a similar spectrum of flavours with added complexity from some anise notes. Christopher Waters, The Standard. April 24, 2004 4 out of 5 stars Deep garnet colour with herbal, tobacco, seaweed notes that open to dense, lovely black fruit and wild herb flavours. Implicity sweet with a delicate vegetal undertone. Drink 2008-2016.Konrad Ejbich, A Pocket Guide to Ontario Wines, Wineries, Vineyards and Vines. McClelland and Stewart. 2005 |
